Who we are
MonkeyDraw (monkeydraw.com) is a small creative studio based in Denmark. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at any time through our Contact Us page.
What we collect and why
- Orders: your name, email address, billing details and order information, so we can deliver your downloads, send receipts and keep our accounts. Legal basis: contract and legal obligation (GDPR art. 6(1)(b) and (c)).
- Customer account: your login details and order history, if you choose to create an account, so you can download your purchases again later.
- Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up for free coloring pages and news. Legal basis: your consent (art. 6(1)(a)). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
- Contact form: your name, email address and message, so we can answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying (art. 6(1)(f)).
- Statistics: only if you accept cookies, Google Analytics collects usage data that helps us improve the website. Legal basis: your consent (art. 6(1)(a)).
- Order source: our shop system records how you found us (for example a search engine or a direct visit) to help us understand which channels work.
We never sell your personal data.
Who processes your data for us
We use trusted services to run the shop:
- Hostinger: website hosting
- Cloudflare: website security and fast loading
- Brevo: newsletter and emails
- Stripe, PayPal and MobilePay: payments (we never see your full card details)
- Google: website statistics
Some of these companies may transfer data outside the EU. When they do, they use approved safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU’s standard contractual clauses.
Amazon and Printify links
Many of our printed books are sold on Amazon, and other printed products are made and sold through Printify. When you click a link to Amazon or Printify, you leave our website, and their own privacy policies apply. As an Amazon Associate we may earn a commission from qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you.
How long we keep your data
- Order and accounting records: 5 years, as required by Danish bookkeeping law
- Customer account: until you ask us to delete it
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe
- Contact form messages: as long as needed to handle your request
Children
Our products are made for children, but this website is intended for parents and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- see the data we hold about you
- have incorrect data corrected
- have your data deleted
- restrict or object to our use of your data
- receive your data in a portable format
- withdraw your consent at any time
Send your request through our Contact Us page, and we’ll reply within 30 days.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.dk.
